Campus Improvement Plan is a plan that helps improve the campus as a
whole. It allows for teachers to have input in ways that could help with improving
the campus. I worked very hard with teachers and staff to amend and add items to
the campus improvement plan that could ultimately improve our campus and
student success. When working on the campus plan teachers are asked to sign up
on committees they would like to work on when in small groups. NCLB goals and
indicators are set in place in order to help achieve success. Shepherd High School
develops goals and objectives that the school would like to follow and improve in
order to help make our students successful. Data such as demographics, student
achievement, school culture and climate, staff quality, recruitment and retention,
curriculum, instruction, and assessment, family and community involvement,
school organization, and technology are all examined, recommendation and/or
needs are identified and plans are developed.
